Grand Canyon and Navajo Lands

From Flagstaff, AZ

  • Navajo Trading Post
  • Painted Desert Views
  • Grand Canyon East Rim and Village Viewpoint

Our most popular Flagstaff day tour.

Depart early morning and see first-hand the dramatic changes in landscape as you go from tall Ponderosa pines to vast, colorful high desert and then to the Grand Canyon. Start off at Grand Canyon Village, where you can explore historic buildings, go for a stroll along the rim, and have time to enjoy lunch on your own (lunch is not included). You will then see the best viewpoints across the south and east rim. Visit the Navajo Indian Reservation and historic Cameron Trading Post for shopping and views of the colorful Painted Desert cliffs. Arrive in time for spectacular vistas of Grand Canyon National Park, where you’ll enjoy several of our favorite Canyon viewpoints. This mile-deep Wonder of the World is breathtaking as colors change dramatically throughout the day. You’ll have time for a leisurely walk and lunch on your own, before returning to Flagstaff in the evening.  Bring your camera and dress for altitude, as you rise over 7000 feet.
